Word and the changes will be reflected in your Pub text box. Now when you select any text box and click 'Edit Story in Microsoft Word' command, that text box will open in Word and you can avail yourself of all the key board shortcuts and advanced word processing tools to edit your content. Select a text box > right click the menu toolbar > Customize the ribbon > choose All commands and scroll down to find the 'Edit Story in Microsoft Word' command and add it to the menu. You can add it where you want but I chose the menu toolbar under the 'Text box tools - Format' If you don't want to be limited to a copy and paste workaround then again I suggest you add the 'Edit Story in Microsoft Word' function to the Publisher menu. That means that you need to find a workaround that fits with your workflow. ![]() Program repair, but that is not what I hear you saying. If the shortcuts worked at some time you could try doing a The line of 'this is by design.' or 'this functionality was never used.', or some other retort that means 'yes, we know but we are not going to fix it.' answer. Even if you did it would likely be something along ![]() You are effectively asking a rhetorical question as this is a peer to peer forum and you will not get an answer from MS as to why this or any functionality was removed or broken or how to bring it back. but not before asking why their documented function isn't working for me. If the proper keyboard shortcut is available, that is infinitely preferable. If not, of course I have to Live with it.
